Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Times & Cost

At present, Foodies Box Ltd ships within the UK mainland only, excluding the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

We offer a choice of either Standard delivery or Next Day delivery, Monday to Friday, as well as a Saturday delivery option, as explained in the table below:

  • Standard Delivery (3-5 working days): £4.50
  • Free Standard Delivery (3-5 working days) on orders over £70
  • Next Working Day Delivery (Monday to Friday)*: £6.50
  • Saturday Delivery*: £12.00

*For Next Day delivery, please note that your order must be placed before 11:00am on the day of purchase in order for it to be delivered the next working day. All orders placed after 11:00am will only be dispatched the following working day. Orders placed on Friday will only be delivered the next Monday. Please also note that orders placed during weekends or UK bank holidays will only be considered as placed the next working day.

*For Saturday delivery, please note that your order must be placed before 11:00am on the day of purchase and, at the latest, on the Friday before the planned Saturday delivery. All orders placed after 11:00am Friday will only be delivered on the Saturday of the following week.

2. Delivery Process

Standard or Next Day deliveries take place Monday to Friday.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email, so please make sure you enter a correct email address when placing your order.

Where Standard delivery has been selected, you should expect to receive your order within 2 to 5 working days from receipt of the Shipping Confirmation email.

Where a Next Day delivery has been selected, please note that your order must be placed before 11:00 am in order to be delivered the working next day. Orders placed after 11:00 am will only be dispatched the following working day.

Orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed during Weekends or UK bank holidays will only be considered as placed the next working day. Please do not count the day of order, weekend or UK Bank holiday as delivery days.

Please also note that around busy times of the year such as the Christmas period, the Next Day delivery service can take up to 2 working days from dispatch.

Where a Saturday delivery has been selected, please note that your order must be placed before 11:00am on the day of purchase and, at the latest, on the Friday before the planned Saturday delivery. All orders placed after 11:00am Friday will only be delivered on the Saturday of the following week.

We will deliver the goods to the Shipping address you specify for delivery in your Order. It is important that this address is accurate as we cannot accept liability for delivery to an incorrect address/postcode supplied by the customer.

Where the Next Day service is selected, a signature will always be required unless you specifically mention otherwise.

Please make sure that somebody will be at the delivery address on the delivery day in order to sign for the package. It does not have to be the addressee. The signature is electronically logged in for security. Any signature at the address will be taken as proof of delivery by us.

If no one is available to receive the item, the delivery company will attempt to leave a 'Sorry we missed you’ card and return the item to the local depot. They will re-attempt the delivery the next working day or, if you prefer, you can directly arrange for redelivery at a convenient time for you.

You may provide written instructions on our website to leave your parcel without a signature (in a safe place, under the porch, etc). However please note that this would be done so at your own responsibility. We cannot be held liable for any orders that go missing as a result of specific delivery instructions where no signature is required.

The risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by our carriers.

Any claims for goods received with shortages and damages must be reported to Foodies Box Ltd by email within 48 hours of receipt at contact@foodiesbox.co.uk. Any claims made outside this time frame will not be accepted.
